Gaushala
It is for this reason that goshalas, or protective shelters for cows exist in many places in India, and now, thanks to the vision of Srila Prabhupada and the governing managerial heads of ISKCON, throughout the whole world. The establishment and upkeep of these goshalas and farming communities form the core function upon which the ministry of cow protection operates.
