Around the turn of the 20th century, the West became more prosperous, and civilians traded their horses for newly invented cars - available in steam, gasoline, or electric versions.

The parts are messed up. RAC then replaced 89 parts with new parts. Unable to distinguish which parts from which car, three Cadillacs were reconstructed. Everyone moved flawlessly (although it took two turns of the crank to start the third car) and drove 500 miles through Brooklands at full throttle without any problems. One car was locked up until the spring, when it completed the 2,000-mile RAC test.
