Bhaktivedanta Swami Eco farm – Water Pump for Farming

The Bhaktivedanta Swami Eco farm is a project based on the teachings of SrilaPrabhupadto have “Simple Living and High thinking”. The current generation happens to be a society with a belief of “Simply Living and Hardly Thinking ” .

Only at a distance of 10 km from VrindavanDham , here is a place which will stand as an example for organic farming . Surrounded by lush greenery , this Eco farm is house for indigenous Vrindavanroses , jasmine as well as vegetables like pumpkin , bottle, gourd , ladies finger , rich gourd, brinjal coupled with succulent fruits like guava , mangoes and papaya .

The farm covers an area of 38 acres , an area of 5 acres has been barned for its residents , which includes resident devotees , guests , cows, bulls calves

From last few years , we were cultivating only around 6-7 acres of Land with mostly rice and wheat , this year we have attempted to cultivate 20 acres . This could be done mostly because we have made a huge pond for continuous supply especially for paddy cultivation.

The current land does not have proper water supply as far as ground water is concerned .

Objective

To ensure uninterrupted , independent power supply for running water pump for agricultural and domestic purposes.

To make 2 HP submersible pump running independent of electrical energy .

• Wind Capacity: Maximum wind bearing capacity of the structure is 150 Km/hr.
•  Modules cleaning: Solar panels will be cleaned periodically by Bhaktivedanta Swami Eco Farm.
